What is the length of my membership?
Membership is valid for 12 months from your registration date.
How many users are included in my membership?
Practice and multi-practice memberships include unlimited access for the entire team. Individual members gain access to the Distance Learning Center for one full year and are non-transferrable.
What is included in the Distance Learning Center?
The Distance Learning Center is a key feature of BSM Connection and is comprised of over 120 online accredited courses, including JCAHPO, ABO/NCLE, COE, and CPSS credits.
Members have access to a series of clinical, optical, and business-focused continuing education (CE) courses. This includes regulatory and compliance training such as HIPAA, OSHA, and Fraud, Waste, and Abuse.

Does BSM Connection provide CPSS credits?
Yes, any distance learning course on BSM Connection can be applied to the Certified Patient Service Specialist (CPSS) certification program.

Do certain staff members benefit from the Distance Learning Center?
All 120 BSM Connection courses are designed to provide continuing education for every area of interest or expertise. Whether employees are interested in Medicare billing basics or telephone skills training, everyone in your practice can benefit from the Distance Learning Center.
How can I use BSM Connection for staff training?
Since your entire team gains access to more than 120 courses, this allows for more efficient and effective staff training. Additionally, there are staff training and development plans to guide you in selecting courses specific to each unique job role. All of this can be done with the Manager’s Toolkit, along with monitoring the progress of each student.
How do I oversee BSM Connection as the manager?
Practice and multi-practice memberships include access to a Manager’s Toolkit for the office administrator or manager. Those with permission can oversee user accounts, assign courses, monitor progress, designate required completion dates, and run reports.
What reports does BSM Connection offer?
The Manager’s Toolkit includes several reporting options, including an individual student report card showing all course progress. There are also regulatory and compliance staff training reports to help you monitor annual completion of these important courses.
How do I login to BSM Connection?
Each user is provided with a unique username and password upon registration. When you visit the BSM Connection homepage, click “Login” in the upper-right corner to enter the site.

If I manage several practices that are BSM Connection members, can I get one login?
We require a separate login for each practice membership.
I’m interested in the multi-practice pricing tier. How many practices does it take to qualify?
You must have at least three active BSM Connection memberships within your parent company to be eligible for multi-practice pricing.

What if I have more than one practice under my organization?
Practices that operate under a different name or brand require their own BSM Connection membership, even if they are part of your organization.

If I have several BSM Connection practices, can we consolidate the billing?
Yes, we can prorate your membership accounts to renew at the same time annually.

Do you offer membership discounts for renewing?
Members under the practice pricing tier receive a $50 renewal discount; this offer is available 60 days prior to the membership expiration date, after which practices must pay full price. We do not offer a renewal discount for individual and multi-practice pricing tiers.
